Privacy Policy
What CrawlCheck collects — and what it never does · Effective September 21, 2026
The short version
Free tools run in your browser. Purchases and payments are handled by our Merchant of Record. We collect as little as a paid service reasonably can, and we never sell personal data.
Free scans and check pages
When you run a single-page scan, we fetch the public page you point us at, evaluate its robots.txt and crawler accessibility, and store the domain-level result. Stored results are published on public check pages (for example /check/example.com) and may be indexed by search engines. We store the hostname and scan findings — not your identity, IP address or any personal information.
Pro Deep Reports
When you order a Deep Report, we store the site URL you submit, the generated report, and a record of your license key. Reports live at private, unguessable URLs and are not published.
Purchases and payments
We do not process payments ourselves. Purchases are handled by our Merchant of Record — Paddle.com (or Lemon Squeezy, LLC, depending on the checkout option) — which receives and processes your payment details, billing address and tax information under its own privacy policy. What reaches us is limited to your email address (to deliver the report and license key) and a purchase record. Card numbers never touch our servers.
Server and CDN logs
The Site is served through Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy and are not used by us for profiling.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not collect personal information. We set no advertising cookies and embed no ad trackers.
If you subscribe to the newsletter or purchase a report, we store your email address to deliver what you asked for. Every message includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell, rent or share email addresses.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hi@crawlcheck.dev and we will respond within a reasonable time.
